THE LARGEST ANIMAL WELFARE NGO FOR ANIMALS VICTIMS OF ABUSE IN RIO DE JANEIRO.
Paraíso dos Focinhos is a non-profit organization based in Rio de Janeiro, created 14 years ago to rescue, protect, treat, and care for stray animals until they find a family.
PARAÍSO IN NUMBERS:
◆ More than 500 animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and even a little pig.
◆ 3 sites, each with approximately 7,000 m²
◆ Facilities for dogs and cats include four catteries with fans, 120 spacious kennels up to 50 m²
◆ 3 infirmaries and a medical center and plenty of comfort.
Wellness, love and fun
The sites also have a pool, large playgrounds, and a consultation room for sick animals.
For the comfort of the horses, with great effort and dedication, we managed to build a stable with shade, greenery, and plenty of space for them to run freely.
Our greatest concern is to ensure the well-being of the animals living in our NGO.
That’s why we count on your understanding and patience to fill out the questionnaire below.
It will also be very helpful for us to define the profile of the animal you will sponsor.
By becoming a sponsor (godmother or godfather) of one of our “focinhos” (little snouts), you contribute US$20,00 per month and receive updates about your sponsored animal, in addition to being able to visit the site regularly to spend time with them!
